With energy savings and customer comfort in mind, the McDonald’s fast food restaurant in Campinas (SP) has adopted new lighting. Those responsible for the site opted to invest in LED lighting technology in the parking lot and drive-thru, resulting in savings of up to 70% in external lighting.
The new luminaires have a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, which means that if you consider 24 hours of daily use, they will last more than 5 years without replacement, resulting in a significant reduction in expenses and constant maintenance. To carry out this project, the company sought out the efficient technology that LED offers, which not only guarantees financial savings, but also reinforces the search for a more sustainable product and the concern for the safety of the customers who will be there.
In the project carried out by installer Fabcom, 47 Conexled LED projectors and luminaires were used. The result will be a significant improvement in the quality and efficiency of the lighting in the area near a bridge, as well as increased safety at night, since the area is now better lit.
